What helps you guys push through the pain when your pretty much at ur limit in a sprinting/agility session? We do this thing called "county fair" where u rotate through 7 stations, one station being where you can take a break and drink water. Well the station before it was amazingly hard, we had to take this huge tire and roll it back and forth (not on the side u think, but pretty much flopping it over) After that, I could barely even breathe. I find it really unbearable 2bh, luckily i was in the group where we had water mid way.

We did a county fair in high school, it sucked. They best way to pull through is to rely on your fellow players. That is what will make you a closer team. It is going to suck sometimes, especially if there are no leaders in your group. Try to team up with another person to lead the group and help push everyone through.

I usually don't have time to think, I just naturally do it because I know it has to be done. If its like a sprint session where I'm running sprints with a rest between to think about it, I think about the fact that if I skip the next sprint I won't be fast enough to pass block against one of those speed demon DE's, our QB will get sacked and fumble and we will lose the game.

You say sprint/agility session? If the session is meant for improving speed, the whole thing is wrong. A sprint session requires full recovery and FULL speed in EVERY run. Therefore say you're running 60m sprints x 6 reps. If your times are 7.8, 7.75, 7.82, 7.79, 7.81 and then 8.0, then yuo should stop immedietly. Once you cannot run your fastest, your done for the sprints.

Thanks everyone for the advice... Ncwinn I think about where I wanna be and I keep on going, it's not the pain that really affects me but the lack of oxygen. Terike, I really doubt flipping a tire would be easy for you after you've gone through an hour and a half of weight training, on top of 40 minutes of agility training prior to the tire rolling. I work my ass off every single minute so it gets hard near the end of course.
