    hand to hand push ups for "inner chest" development?

    hand to hand pushups is the variation of basic pushup with ur hands right next to eachother thumb to thumb. is this alright for "inner pec development"?

    inner chest does NOT exist, that's bullcrap

    hand to hand (close-grip pushups) imitate a close grip bench press which will hit your triceps.

    it targets your triceps. There will be many people that will tell you there is no inner and outer chest since it is one muscle and the fibers run horrizontally, you can't contract part of a fiber. I got flamed for asking a similar question a while ago.

    yes i am well aware of that and thus the quotation marks around "inner chest" but i was wondering if it will help to some extent better than other exercises that target the area.

    you will feel a pump there, yes better than regular push-ups...but you are targeting the triceps not the chest.

    oh, sorry. I think something with a big range of motion that'll allow you to squeze at peak contraction will help. I've heard cable crossovers will do it. Flyes will give you the range of motion, but you can't really squeze at the top.
