    Why does working out the legs build up other bodyparts?

    Like he said.

    As well, the major leg exersizes(Squats, Deadlifts) work many other areas, IE abs, lower back.

    even thought what u guys say is true, it doesnt really help build ur upper body that much, thats y u still see people with big upper bodies and chicken legs... but who wants that anyways? just work your legs, hard

    My legs are my worst bodypart, and when I finally got serious about training them I broke my ankle. Even with that I still do leg extensions and deadlifts. Hopefully thats enough to build my legs up.
    Everyday when I look at myself in the mirror, I get pissed of because I want to be bigger and I dont like my body. I train, eat, sleep, wake up the next day and start over again. I need to grow!

    that defiantely isnt enuff, add some squats. and you have calves dont u? how bout hamstrings? you should work em too

    If you have stronger legs all your other lifts will get stronger as well. I guarantee it.

    Dude, Broken ankle? I cant do squats prob for another 6 weeks. Also deadlifts really hit the hamstrings more than quads for me. But for right now I can do 6 sets of leg extensions and 4 sets for deadlifts. You dont think its enough to build up the legs until I can start squating again.

    the reason your upperbody grows better when you work your legs is because when you put all that weight on your traps and on your upperbody your body takes notice and it starts growing so you don't have to struggle with the weight.
