Side Glute?
I need some training advice. I need to work on the side glute muscle. (I have no idea what it is called.) I?m talking about the area that is on the outside of the glute, almost on the side hip for instance. Any suggestions for exercises you?ve seen results with? Thank you!

deep squats and bulgarian squats, one legged leg press, feet wide on hack squats, feet wide on leg press

yeah, I was going to suggest wide stance squats where you sit back "powerlifter style"
for instance if you do wide stance box squats and u sit WAY back on the box (bench), so that the knees are still vertical. U sit, relax for a split second, then fire back up using those exact hip muscles u refer to.

Mr. Prophet is correct. Wide style squats are the way to go as well as the abb/adduction machine if you have access too. Try to go as heavy as possible to add thickness and mass. Also, walking barbell lungs (as heavy as you can go) have helped me.

Side lunges work very well for this area.
