Motivating Music?
I just got a new IPOD and I?m trying to make up a good playlist to listen to while working out. I wanted to find out if anyone has any good suggestions for songs they like that really help motivate them. Thanks girls!

I was just listening to "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera. I wish the song was more generalized, and referred to life in general, rather than focusing on becoming stronger after leaving a "man", but overall it's motivating.
You can listen to it on one of Adela's videos here:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=33Z3loR7IxQ
I've been using it to warm up. Great Question.

Awesome! I need that! Just went through a divorse and this would be great to download! I would also love to know some more motivating music. Pink is pretty good, Fergie to. I like to workout to those!

I've never gone through a divorce, but I've heard how difficult they can be. I'm happy the song I posted was able to lift your spirits or motivate you. I often use music just to get up and moving, when I'm having a bad day.

Guns 'n Roses. There's something about "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Paradise City" that justs makes me want to lift heavy weights or pedal up steep hills.

For me, I need kick #$% music, like Metallica or Limp Bizkit. These make me feel like breaking somthing However, I also like rap; depends on my mood and if I'm lifting or doing cardio.

I've been looking for drum music, mixed with a little house and techno for my cardio sessions. Anyone know of a blend like this?

It depends what sort of music you like, really. My tastes are fairly eclectic but I have found hard rock or techno to be more advantageous for working out; I recently got a new iPod myself and have been putting music on it.
Right now I have:
BT
Disturbed
Type O Negative
Metallica
The Prodigy
Queen
Journey
Nine Inch Nails
Marilyn Manson
Tool
Garbage
In addition, I have Thievery Corporation and Zero 7, none of which I use for working out. It's too calm.
