OT - Testicular Cyst
Hey guys....a couple weeks ago I noticed I had two small lumps, one attached to each nut. Went to my doctor and he had an ultrasound performed. Got the results Friday and both my doctor and a urologist confirmed that they were cysts and that there could be a good chance that they are cancerous.
Now I know that this is a very stupid question but I am in the midst of prepping for a contest in November. Should I stop my cycle to avoid further damage or continue on as planned?

I dont know for a fact, but I have heard time and time again that if you have cancer, steroids will make that cancer grow much much faster. I would cool out and wait to see what the doc says before even thinking about going on cycle. Sorry to hear all that, too bro. hope everything goes well 4 you.

Thanks guys.....theres really not too much information out there that support continuing on. As much as want to keep going and do this I cant risk it and be selfish. My fiancee and potential family mean too much to me. I mean if it comes back to be negative then great but I cant fool around with the uncertainty.

HOw long until you have it checked again? Results should be back in pretty quickly after the initial test (biopsy?)

Im going to see the urologist on Thursday this week. Usually it takes a while to meet with a specialist but they got me in pretty quick. They are treating this seriously.
Thats why I wasnt sure if I could continue running IGF-1 or even start HGH and stop the AAS.

think of it this way....IGF-1 and HGH make things grow, and cancer....well it will grow just as good as anything else. Wait until you know what your status is before doing anything that could help it grow/spread farther or faster. Its just not worth it for a bodybuilding show, this is the rest of your life you could be talking about.

QFT....
even if you wait until you know for sure to start back up, the week or 2 off wont kill you, but it could hurt you if you continue.

You are right in the middle of the age range when testicular cancer occurs. I'm really sorry to hear this. I'd say first things first and get the biopsies done ASAP. If caught early these things are curable. Think about getting to a sperm bank so you and your lady can have kids later if the worst turns out to be the case. A physique trophy is really not that important in comparison to what you could be facing. In the end, if all turns out OK, you can return to your lifestyle albiet somewhat modified if need be.
As an aside, I've had some sort of lump on my right testicle for about 8 years. It popped up after I ripped a small muscle in my groin. It's been the same size the whole time. I've had two lady docs since it happened. For whatever reason they always want to check my nuts even though I'm beyond the age when T cancer occurs. Even though I was off AAS for years I think they thought I was a juicer because of my build and want to see if I am atrophied. Anyways, mine turns out to be probably some sort of scaring from rupture. I hope yours turns out to be similar.
Good luck man and get well soon.

I am very sorry to hear of this, perhaps this is something you can speak to your physician about, either way wishing you the best of luck and hoping they are benign
