Losing Motivation

I feel like the last month I've lost my motivation to work out. For the past year i've been single and now I have a great girlfriend, we eat out every so often, ( no pun intended :/ ) but I'm havin this feelin like I haven't eaten in forever! I have no want to work out I've been waiting so long for this weather to come around, I LOVE summer.. but I don't know what can possibly make me pick up the weights again. I hate this feeling, I'm in a rut, my brain's telling me get your ass up and lift some weights.. but my body's like... meh who cares. I don't have the money for boosters or anything like that I've been all natural for the last year and a half. I haven't felt this weak in a while. I don't know what to do!

ok firstly you look great and you don't need boosters to achieve what you want however yeah they help.

Have you tried changing your routine? Made that's what you are bored with?

Diet is not part of my vocab - I eat healthy but I do not diet.

I would ask myself is bodybuilding my life or part of it......I've made bodybuilding part of it and not to become my life that's what makes it more fun...

first ask yourself why are you demotivated what's changed to make you think you don't need to work out? Once you've got that figured out changing your perspective can give you back the motivation you seek.

thank you for your reply.
I've never joined a gym and I wanted really badly to join but it was out of my price range. I guess I kinda stopped after I saved and it wasn't enough.. my routine's the same thing again and again. I eat healthy but then again once or twice out of the day I'm craving cakes and cookies and I give in. I know if I were to join a gym i'd feel much better.. but that isn't happening any time soon. Plus my gf keeps saying, I don't need to work out I can eat cakes and she'd still want me even if I was fat, ha that doesn't help. It's like now once in my life I have someone who will accept me as I am and I'm wanting to eat and eat and it's makin me not work out.

Write it down!

Whenever I get in an eating rut, I find that if I make myself write down what I am eating, or better yet, log it into fitday.com so I can see the fat/carbs/protein add up, I ALWAYS make better choices. It doesn't mean I won't still eat something I shouldn't, but it does mean I do it less often. Even better, I might get to the end of the day and really want one thing, but look at the nice little pie graph and think, "Wow! I better eat some lean protein instead!" That doesn't help with not wanting to work out, of course, but it might help you to get your eating back on track.

I've been seriously unmotivated to work out this week, too. I am chalking it up to the hot weather, but I know what it comes down to is- Just do it! Now if I could only get my body to agree...

Good luck!
