    Anti gravity boots

Anybody remember these from the early 80's? The idea was that hanging upsidedown somehow benificial to your joints. I have not seen these things in quite some time. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about these?

I've used them in the past. Haven't in about 10 years though. They aren't that easy on the joints. It's like your weight is pulling you apart. When I was young I used to use mine to do upside down crunches. Very effective. The inversion tables might be easier. Plus you can hang on an angle thereby reducing the relative weight of the body. A lot easier to get into also.

I've got a set and don't use them as much as I thought I would. I am pushing myself to start . I now use them about once a week I hang for a few minutes and do some crunches, it's a nice stretch though. I use mine with my VKR Chin/dip station. I'd never hang from a door mounted unit.
You can pick up an inexpensive Inversion table for around $200 that would give you a nice stretch.
