what do you most of you guys eat prior to falling asleep?
If you do eat, how many hours/mins prior to sleeping?
Do any of you guys take a protein shake? I heard it is better to use milk at night time with your protein

I usually have a can of tuna and a few egg whites. Once and a while I'll throw in an oz of reduced fat cheese in instead of the whites, or I'll have some low GI carbs like veggies. It's also good to get your EFA's in, so nuts or PB are a good choice as well.
Milk is good at night because it's a slower absorbing protein due to the casein content. You can put it in your shake, or use a protein powder that is casein based.
Normally I eat my last meal about 10-30 mins before bed, otherwise I wake up hungry.

can you guys stop saying 'last meal'? it's really freakin me out cuz it sounds like you're dying. Anyway, my pre-sleep meal usually a peanut butter sandwich with wholemeal bread and definetely a glass of whey protein in milk. Will also use cottage cheese from now onwards...although it's the grossest tasting food ever.
