I was tired of eating plain yams that I boiled or baked so I came up with something a bit different!
I cut one of my yams into tiny cubes and mixed them with a tablsp of olive oil and a dash of sea salt and pepper. The I just threw it under the broiler in the oven for about 15 minutes (turning often) and they came out like crunchy little yam chips!
I like yams, but this satified my need for some crunchy food, seeing how a lot of what I eat is rather mashed!
Anyways, thought someone might enjoy it!
(BTW--if you add onions, cu tin ring, and put it on top of yams/potatoes, they burn a bit but taste awesome together)
