Is it ok to do the exercise wrong...weird question

OK so my question is this. Lets say I do pullovers which from searching here I have seen is good for lats and middle back. When I do, I feel my lats, my middle back, but also my triceps. When I look it up though, it says my triceps shouldn't even be getting hit. Is it ok for my triceps to be getting hit also? I still feel a good burn in the areas its targeted for but I'm wondering if I should keep working on my form and try to take the triceps completly out of it. It's like this for a few exercises. Same with them also? Try to keep getting form down to target only those muscles the exercise is designed for?

its b/c your not keeping your arm straight as you go behind your head. I do the same too some times, for that exercise i dont see you hurting yourself by having a slight bend and using tris. just makes the exercise a little easier.
