How do you eat healthy food that you just CAN'T STAND?!?!

Okay... I forced myself to eat a can of tuna yesterday and it was torture. I was gagging and trying to swallow at the same time!

Are there any methods that you can use to "mask" the taste?

    Particularly for tuna.

You have to dry the tuna out. Once its dry it doesn't really have a taste.

I'm having the same problem. Chicken, chicken, chicken and tuna, tuna, and more tuna. I'm just dealing with it. It's like getting into a habit. Once you start eating those foods day after day then it becomes just natural. Just look forward to your cheat day, that's what I do.

Good way's to help with tuna would be a little tabasco sauce or make a tuna melt with cheese. You can also have a tuna salad and a tuna sub with what ever veggies you like.
Soon I will be on top.

To the original poster...is this your first can of plain tuna? If so, congradulations!! You are now a man!

I've been almost doubling my tuna intake lately...and I'm getting a litte sick of it just over the course of the past week. I found that drinking a little bit of water with each bite makes it easier to chew/swallow.

I'm tired of these I hate cottage cheese or tuna threads. There are plenty of other options. Don't like tuna? Eat a damn chicken.

I was just amazed at the amount of protein in the little bit of tuna.

And yes, that was my first can of tuna.

I hate cottage cheese, miracle whip/mayo, mustard and tabasco sauce.

I find tuna to taste great. Make sure you drain it though as the fluid the tuna is in is terrible for you and affects the taste. Mix the tuna with a little mayo and spread on whole wheat toast. It will taste great. Also you can shread cellery and carrots into it to give it a nice crunch. I love mine with cheese as well. If you want to make solid gains you will learn to love tuna as it gives you the absolute best bang for your buck price wise and is packed with protein.

Cottage cheese is another one of my favorites. My friend hated the taste of it so I suggested adding cinnamon to it and he loved it. Maybe cinnamon will make it more enjoyable for you but is your own personal preferance.

    Yup. Very good combo.

Also, try different brands of cottage cheese. I usually get the stuff from Albertsons and/or WinCo and it tastes fine. The stuff from Fred Meyer is sick...really salty and bland. The taste varies by brand I guess.

Tuna does get old after a while.. So far I have tried lemons, limes, salsa, and cheese mixed with it(not at the same time!).. It will taste fine for a while but I still can't really come to like it.

Cottage cheese taste good with yogurt or oatmeal, and get small curred also so its less noticible in your mouth.

After eating some of this stuff that steak i grill is 10x better
One good thing about music is when it hits, you feel no pain.

Willing is not enough; one must do

Take cottage cheese with Splenda. With enough Splenda it can taste like cheesecake
