hi guys i have just started taking protein and i was wondering how many times a day and the best times to take it to make it the most effective thanks in advance have a greta day or night!!!

depends what type of protien
whey protien i would recommend taking either: MORNING & POST WORKOUT *or* POST-WORKOUT & EVENING
if it is casein... POST-WORKOUT & BEFORE BED
or you can take the protien 3 times a day, morning-post-workout-evening...
I don't really recommend taking a protien drink (especially such as NLARGE2) right before bed... casein is the best type of protien to take before bed (ie milk)
hehe, I was going to say, I don't know who greta is, but does she know you making that offer for her? LOL
Seriously, I believe two good times (I won't say best because I am sure others will have their own ideas) to consume your protein shakes are: (1) first thing in the am [your body hasn't had anything for hours], (2) right after a workout [your body is ready for it]. This is the basic patten I follow anyway. In addition, I consume two meal-replacement type shakes which contain a good blend of proteins at two other times during the day.
