since your body uses more proteins when cutting (ie. uses muscle for fuel when energy is scarce) you should hit the upper end of around 2g when cutting. Bulking is more carbs and slighlty bigger protein intake

Growth phase protein intake should be between 1-1.5g/lb of bodytype, depending on bodytype. While dieting, 1.5-2g/lb, depending on body

LOL wtf? Where did you hear that? You can do that if you want to gain lard . The amount of calories gained from protein and carbs should be equal when bulking which means slightly more protein than carbs(protein has less cals per gram).
If you're cutting you most probab;y will cut down on carbs so you need more protein than carbs...quite a lot more.

Protein does not have less calories per gram. This is absolute basic knowledge. Don't go spouting bull****. And you do not need an equal ratio of protein:CHO while in a growth phase
