I use to be so demotivated when i started doing HIIT in the morning so i decided to get a CD Player and burned up some fast songs on a CD and time went by much easier, I recently got an ipod(owns) and use it whenever im working out or doing cardio, it really helps!

Yes I have an armband MP3 player I wear while lifting and cardio. Helps me focus in on me and ignore everyone else. I play the drums also so I find myself running with the beat a lot...passes time very quickly.
I switch out my playlist about once every week.

My workouts Always go better with music. Metal is my preference, the heavier the better.

at the moment I have some
disturbed
Incubus
Deftones
(old) Korn
Sevendust
etc..
I'll typically switch between rap and heavy they seem to do the best for me.
DMX
Tupac
etc..
They play some crappy music at my gym somtimes...very mellow stuff that I listen to when I want to zone out not work out.

I will tell you guys the best bands to listen to while doing cardio
1. New Found Glory
2. Yellowcard
3. Goldfinger
4. Hoobastank (minus the reason)
5. Offspring
Fast paced music increases speed in HIIT
nah...those bands don't do it for me. when working out, i like listening to:
metallica ("kill 'em all" or 2nd disc of "garage inc")
minor threat
rancid (only the 2000 album)
suicidal tendencies (1st album)
bad brains (excluding the reggae dub stuff)
misfits (earth AD)
bands like yellowcard and new found glory is too poppy for me and tend to take something away from my HIIT sessions.

Eve6 is pretty good, I listen to them but not when working out. I need hardcore piss you off music when I work out. Eve6 is more like crusing with the top down music for me.

One of the albums I like to listen most to is Stone Temple Pilots - Thank You. Not a single bad track on there and every one of them pumps me up. 2pac's Greatest Hits is another cd (well, 2 cds) I like to listen to do while doing cardio. I just need some **** thats quality so I can concentrate more on listening to music, not the 45 minutes of cardio I got ahead of me.
Most music at the gym is pop because the person who usually fiddles with the station is an attractive girl and nobody dares to suggest something that the attractive girl wouldn't listen to :rolleyes- 10K A Day Crew

If your on a PC you can use programs like winamp etc.. to convert your CD's into MP3's. The MP3 Player will come with software/cables to hook to the computer for downloading onto the player.
