How to train for flexibility ?

Hey guys. I have been wondering is it possible to train for strength while being flexible ? Eg: be able to do full splits or clap your hands behind ur back with palms facing outwards.

Any article links would be appreciated

I found the best way to increase your flexibility is by keeping it simple, and stretching.

Just warm up properly, then stretch your entire body. But make sure you warm up your whole body if you're going to do this. Just go on the bike for 5 minutes, start at a slow pace and speed up. for your upper body do some slow pushups, shoulder circles etc.

then just stretch. Also, its good to stretch the muscles that you use between sets. finally, stretch during your cool down after your workout.

if you are consistent, then you will see a difference in your ROM and general flexibility.
