Same musclegroup every day ?

Hi,

I know we today says that the hypertrophy-process is something that finishes around 48-72 hours after a specific musclegroup has been through a pass.

This process, is this dependant on your workout ? lets say you do alot of exercises and hereby say that the body approximately needs 48-72 hours of rest due to the stress it has inflicted.

What if i had a very short workout for a group, lets say one exercise (still as heavy so it introduces hypertrohy) - would this then shorten the time for full recovery ?

A specific example, lets say i had 4 sets of 8 reps of heavy squat each day - or a smaller group, 4 sets of heavy biceps workout every day - would this work in any way ?

Its not because i want to train like this, just a thought i got in the gym today - if it was possible to ex. do a fullbody workout every day, with lets say only one exercise pr. group, and next day another exercise for the same group and so forth.

In order to be able to work the same muscle group every day, you'd have to work out in a way that will not put your muscles into repair mode (fatigue). This means that you wouldn't gain any strength or mass.

You're better off just sticking to the tried and true method.
