I'm 72" tall and have a BF% of 18%. It's rather high. I started eating clean with a 500-800 calorie deficit on 5/1/07. I do 1 hour of cardio per day (bike ride at 15mph or eliptical machine). My empty stomach morning weight when I started was 188lbs. As of 5/30/07 it's 173lbs. The problem is I'm not cut; my tummy is still flabby. To be 6 feet tall and 173lbs isn't overweight at all. But I have no muscle tone. I don't have a 6 pack. What am I doing wrong. I see all these pics of guys that are shredded on this site and it's depressing. My BF% is still high. I haven't started weight training yet either.
why would you not weight train? That's what's wrong. You say you see all these pictures of shredded guys. They didn't get their bodies by riding a bike! Just start eating in excess, but eat clean. Your idea of clean might be relaxed or something. Make sure you eat really strict. High protein diet and start lifintg
Like everyone else has said before me, u need to start weight training if u want to look shredded. Losing weight without weight training will generally just leave u skinnier with not much more definition. Trust me, i no.
