    directions for using xtend

    Ladies,

    My container of xtend came in the mail today. The directions say i should mix two scoops of xtend in a 500ml bottile if i'm under 160 pounds and split it during and before my workout.

    Then it says to take 13gr right after.

    This would be for mostly my running... so my question is do i take it like it's describing? Or would i take i bottle for running and 1 during workouts (weights)?

    I suggest instead, to mix all of the 2 scoops into your water, and sip that during your run.

    That is what I do, I mix up my Xtend and put it in my water bottle. I sip on it while I do my workout. It works great for me, especially during cardio!

    what exactly is it supposed to do

    I went running yesterday. I have a new running program i've been following for the last week where i actually run longer then i ever have to build endurance.

    I didn't feel any extra bursts of energy...

    It isn't supposed to give you extra energy. It provides your body with free amino acids and helps prevent muscle breakdown for energy.

    Yep, I love Xtend. I mix 12 grams in my water bottle and drink during weight training and mix the same for during cardio. I do not do cardio right after training, either later/earlier in the day or on a seperate day.
