Question On chest day, doing ONLY incline DB press and dips?

    Hi all,

Would the chest be completely worked if you did just these two exercises?

    1. Three sets of 4 to 6 incline dumbbell presses.
    2. Three sets of 4 to 6 weighted dips. (Ahem, in my case, it's assisted dips, but maybe someday . . . )

    Thanks in advance.

I work chest twice per week. On the first day I only do 2 sets of flat bench for chest and on the second day 2 sets of incline bench and 2 sets dips. I've had no problem increasing reps or weight every workout.
Taking it down to one or two exercises really allows you to focus and progress, IMHO. Good luck w/ it!

Could you substitute Dips for a Decline Press?

Also, is it better to do weighted dips or dips only with your own body weight?

    Thanks!

Yes Dips could be a replacement for Decline.

I would say add weight if you can, with excellent form, do 3x10-12 chest dips at bodyweight.
