i personally don't limit myself, remember different muscles and exercises use different rep ranges... compound movements should be done w/ lower reps and isolation movements should be done w/ higher reps.
and i also jus "feel" what works w/ me for each muscle
i'll do 6 for my heavy sets usually and 13 for my light sets
sometimes i'll do drop sets where i'll do 4-5 reps to failer then another 5 reps w/ a lighter weight
and i personally like going 4-6 reps w/ compound movements for quads for my heavy sets
just see where you "feel" best
i'd say overall 6-8 for heavy and 8-10 for lights sets is best, but thats just my opinionvegitarian
