Creatine + High GI on non workout days

Is it reccomended to take Creatine + High GI carb source on non workout days or can you just take it in water on non workout days cus your not taking it post workout and wanting to restore glycogen.

take it in the morning with no high gi carb. if you plan to eat something that is high in GI then take it with that
