    Unhappy Weird Chest

    I know that muscle mass has a lot to do with genetics, but my dad was a bodybuilder *amature never made the pros, & my mom was a basketball player. So why the hell won't my chest get any bigger? I have big arms, big traps, big shoulders but it looks like my chest just isn't there with all that other muscle around it, my diet is pretty sound, I may not be getting enough calories though I am 190lbs and I try to get about 2,500-3,200 per day it depends on how much $ I have, all my other body parts have grown in the past couple months, but my chest is just lagging behind, it is getting stronger by about 50lb this past couple of months but still will not grow.

    first off, how long have you been working out? i have an old pic of after about 3-4 months and it lookds like ive got no chest at all, took one yesterday, and it looks totally different, it will come over time just be patient. i also changed my routine up, once i had perfect form i went a little heavier and did lower reps.

    On and off for about 2yrs but only seriously started training *with proper diet and such since jan this year. My form is good and I use a Pyramids 6 sets changing the reps every week untill I get to 8,6,4,4,2,2 then I start over again with 12,12,10,10,8,8

    No, my bad, I do more chest exercises than that, that is just bench. MY coach makes us do that many. After school is over I am going to do my own chest workout though. On a normal bench day I will do a set on incline on decline and 2 sets on weighted dips some flys to pre-exhaust the muscle.

    i fine what really made my chest start growing, was once i could do 12 with a weight,(aside from 135, i always warm up with 135) i dont do it again, i start heavier my nech work out, and sicne then my chest and bench have gotten alot better.
