    tight hip flexors and running

I have tight hip flexors and anterior pelvic tilt. Will running/jogging make the condition worse (tighten my hip flexors even more)?

Is there any excercises I should stay away from?

I'm doing warrior lunges and some other hip flexor stetches and also a lot of hanging leg raises. I'm also worried that the leg raises may reinforce the tight hip flexors if my form is bad. Anyone have any tips on form?

one muscle tight usually means the opposing muscles are weak.

tight lower back usually = weak abs/hip flexors

tight chest usually = weak back muscles

    etc
    etc
    etc
    etc

your hip extensors are your hamstrings and glutes. If you dont know how to work them, then go look it up. I dont feel like answering those kinds of questions today. Maybe someone else will.

As for running, it all depends on a lot of things. Are you talking jogging or what? If you have tight hip flexors, and it is interfering with hip extension during running (during pushoff), then I would suggest you fix the problem before continuing.
