Cooking High Protein Meal Bars with Fletch & Beeza

Hey everyone!

Beeza (Brian) came into town this weekend and we had the opportunity to spend some time in the kitchen making up some protein bars using the Atkins Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.

those atkins baking products are REALLY good compared to some other things out there. i use the muffin mixes all the time, even taking out the oil and cream they still taste great. i can't wait to try the bars!

For some reason, I was waiting for the plastic bag to wiggle and move - j/k Hitman. Sounds interesting - I'll give them a try.

They are very filling since they have 9g fiber per bar.

My next batch will be without the raisens and oats and just using the rest of the ingredients with chocolate BSL protein powder and the double chocolate chip cookie mix.

It was on sale at my grocery store last night and will cost me around $0.85 per bar to make at home. Hopefully the combination of the BSL Chocolate Protein powder (very good tasting) with the chocolate cookies will make them taste even better than the original recipe. (vanilla protein + regular chocolate chip cookies)
