    Question SLOW BURNING before lifting, fast burning afterwards

    Just trying to make sure--you guys say search, but it's not always easy to find this info thanks to the wonderful search engine.



    One more thing--I know what fast and slow means, but what foods are fast and slow digesting Proteins and Carbohydrates.

    So far I've heard this:

    SLOW--Tuna, Turkey, Chicken, Oatmeal, maybe Wheat Bread, some vegetables

    Fast--Protein Powder, maybe Wheat Bread (again)



    Help please? I've searched, I haven't really seen anything.

    b4 working out try to get some brown rice, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta,, try to stay away from bread tho, even if its whole wheat.
    slow protein would be whey mixed with milk,, tuna, chicken, egg whites

    fast digesting would be simple sugars like dextrose(glucose) powdered gatorade, and whey protein again but with water for fastes absorbtion.
    and then about 1 hour after go for a nice big whole meal.
