Just a curiosity question. Why would a keto diet be good for bodybuilders if, in order to get the proper pre and post workout nutrients you have to spike your insulin. If you are cusing carbs like malto and dextrose wouldn't that screw up your keto diet? And if you didn't use those carbs for your workout supps then wouldn't you just be pissing out your protein?
All of the carbs consumed after a workout should be driven into the worked muscles very quickly. Therefor, it shouldn't halt the production of ketones. You have to realize that ketogenic diets aren't all about eliminating insulin. Even protein intake causes a slight rise in insulin.

Logo is dead on.
I'll add.....on keto we use/control insulin to our advantage even more so then on a carb based diet.
A ketogenic diet is something myself, Chi_Town and dorian have developed. It is diet of pizza, beer and cheeseburges every hour on the hour. Then we put lipstick smiley faces on our beer bellies and dance for money........LOL.
Sorry couldnt resist, hit the search button. Lots of info here.

Hey fitnessman, you never gave me my cut from the last time we danced for those old women. Mail it to me. Gotta go, I need to go to the store to buy some more cold creme to get that damn lipstick off my belly. The wife's beginning to wonder.
