Miscarriage and being fit
Well I had become pretty fit until back in January when I became pregnant. I had a miscarriage in April, and started getting back into shape. It had been difficult in getting decent gains and was having fatigue. Went to the doctor last week, and found out I never had a complete miscarriage and my body was acting as if I was still pregnant. A week later I'm still feeling this way PLUS I feel like I'm having morning sickness. I have no clue what to do because I really want to get going on my transformation... Any advice?

Don't mean to sound glib, but have you seen your doctor for advice?
I really don't have much to add to your situation, but it sounds like you are really trying to do the right thing for yourself. Keep it up and let us know how you are doing going forward.
Sorry I don't have so much to add.

Bump! I mean, what IS the "incomplete miscarriage"? Hopefully there's nothing left growing in there! And if there isn't and your body is still on hormonal levels of a pregnant woman, you might experience more problems than just being "unable to get decent fitness gains"! Go see a doc ASAP...

Hi
Ask your doctor for an ultrasound to see if you need a D and C. You shouldn't still be feeling this way. I was well 3 weeks after my 14 week "missed" miscarriage and D and C.

Are you saying you never had a D&C when you miscarried?
Or are you having a false pregnancy?
I see you went to the doctor but, what did he say or recommend. Tests?

Miscarrage
You doctor should be testing you HCG levels atleast weekly to make sure that they are coming down. This is extremely important as a missed miscarrage can pose a risk of cancer if the tissue continues to grow without a live fetus or embryo. A D&C may be needed if your body is not reabsorbing the tissue. I have had 4 miscarriages, and 4 successuful pregnancies (my beautiful children). My doctor always tested my HCG levels untill they were back to normal range with each miscarriage. Please get to a doctor who will keep check on you and take care of you. If your hormones are increasing as if you are still viably pregnant, there is a problem.

Thank you. I had a D and C last week and currently have an infection. Today I'm going to the doctor because I am incredibly dizzy, have a fever, nausea, vomiting, and am worried about septic. Thank you for the advice.

Infection will cause all these symptoms. Make sure you take your antibiotics regularly and please please, finish the course. You must rest up too. Keep up the regular visits to your doctor and don't stop until you feel completely well.
Blessings to you honey.
