What muscles are used when you dribble and shoot a bball??

What muscle groups are used during these actions? I kno that technique is mainly important but the muscle excerise makews it easier and less strenuous to do. Any advice is welcomed. please help. Thanks

The point is that you shouldn't just train the arm, you need to train your whole body especially the core and legs, because that is what generates movement. If you just trained your triceps and extensor muscles on your forearm, your shot would still suck because you could not generate any movement with your arm.

i play b-ball, it is mostly triceps and legs (quads, hams, calves,) and i guess back too....

i think what silent_impact tryin to say is that u have to train ur whole body... not just specific body parts...

just practice, and have a regular weightliftin program, u have to work ur whole body, like don't just neglect any parts... it's will only help u,

yea just b/c u are strong doesn't mean u can shoot well, so u have to work on ur forms, techniques and practice.... like it's will help u again... and increase ur accuracy..

To be a dominant basketball player, you need to have a very strong core and lower body. The stronger those two parts are, the greater your shot range will become. For example, I can shoot a ball from half court with little effort since I generate so much power from my waist down.
