I wanted to know, realisticly, how long it takes to get as big as Arnold was, or as big as Jay Cutler is now. This may be a stupid question but can you get as big as the bodybuilders today naturally(without the use of steroids), or are drugs the only way.
Thanks

a lot of variables in there.....yeah to go pro i think it is safe to say drugs are part of the deal...but even with them there are a lot of variables...to look like Arnold? well Thats like saying " how long do I have to practice before I play like Jimmy Hendrix?" you can work out for 20 years and unless you have every piece of the puzzle in place you will not...........and it depends on how many of those pieces you have and how the puzzle is put together......too many people go in the gym and get little results....you see em ...every day....same people you saw a year ago looking the same....its about intensity and determination and knowledge...then throw in genetics and..........like I said ..lot of variables

Not trying to be naive here, or to deny the fact that Arnold took drugs, but he really wasn't juicing nearly as much as todays pros. If you look in his Encylc. and see the pic of him at 19 years old. He was MASSIVE! Now, if he was juicing that young he wouldn't have ever been able to grow anymore and have kids for that matter. He was a genetic marvel!
You gonna eat that?
