    10 weeks out

    im very exciteed to be entering my first contest ....10 weeks out.

    im just wondering if anyone has any advise or tips from other teens that have competed before,

    im 16.

    ive been dieting for 5weeks now and 3 1/2 to go til my show.start by cleaning up ur diet but keep calorie intake roughly the same. reduce it slowly each week.
    as u drop carbs increase protein. and use glutamine in ur shakes.
    drink loads of water. 6/7 litres a day.
    increase vit C to about 3-5 grams a day and take a B-complex supplement. supplement with efa's.
    start cardio at20 mins 3 times a week and build up 2 about 5 times per week @ 45mins, in the morning on an empty stomach.
    continue training the heavy, 8-12 reps but with less rest between sets and double up on body parts to burn more calories.

    stick to it and above all stay focused. no1 said it was going to be easy.

    thx man that helped a lot....im very nervous b/c its my first contest.
    one question tho........doest it matter if itake cglutamin in a pilll or powder. cuz i have l-glutamine in a pill, is that good enough?

    Pills of glutamine are ok as long as your taking 5 grams minimum post workout and then 5 grams minimum 1-2 hours later with a meal. Most pills Ive seen require you to take a lot of them to get atleast 5 grams. I stick with powders for that reason.
