I see the NutriBullet at Costco for $69.99
I've seen it before, but I recall a higher price
Any of you use it?
Do you like it? Do you dislike it? Would you suggest it?
I just LOVE vegetables, and I do not need to liquify them in order to eat them, but it might be interesting to try some smoothie recipes that can only be done with this device, or a similar type of device. Also, we have children - surely there have to be some kid-friendly recipes, such as shakes, ice cream, etc.
Thanks for the input.

Ninja is better.
It's more expensive but blenders are definitely a you-get-what-you-pay-for type of thing.
Ive only got the magic bullet OP, really durable, 4 people using in my house. The plastic cups are the weak link. The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

My son-in-law has the bullet and we have the Ninja. He likes ours better....might be some of the positive things the others are talking about. I liked his when they were still living with us. I like the Ninja just as much. I really don't play with them the way my wife and he does. Frozen fruit and milk and protein powder and I am good to go...both work the same for me. lol

It has a huge plastic container if you're making a large amount at once. Unlike normal blenders that have revolving blades only at the bottom of the container, it has a hub extending up through the container with blades all along it. View the image and look inside the large container and you can see it.
The plastic cups that come with it are very strong and durable. They're perfect for making a protein shake post-workout. You can fit about 16 oz in them. They have a lid that you screw on with its own set of blades. You just screw the lid on and then screw the cup into the top of the blender. You can see them in the image.
The motor is insanely fast and it will blend anything, even large ice cubes, into a perfect consistency extremely quickly.
I paid $130 for mine and I don't feel like I got ripped off at all. It is very high quality and I expect it to last for many years to come.

Use my knock off version everyday, great for a lot of things.

Iv used a $10 poverty bullet for about 3 years now, still holds up great. Only downside, if your doing like full fruits/veggies, it doesn't completely smooth everything, this is for a 300 watt unit. I bought a Ninja (1200 watt) and fuark it works like a charm. Absolutely love it. I bought the one with the big and small pitcher (ninja kitchen system). I do with I bought the model with the added single cup blender, but it's not a biggie. The ninja is GOAT, IMO
Edit: the ninja with large pitcher CAN be found for about $50Engineering Master Race

We have an old school waring bar blender that will mix everything. And a nutri bullet.
Unless I'm making piña coladas the waring sits in the cupboard.
The nutribullet is a year and a Half old and has performed flawlessly. The best feature (to a simpleminded lazy person like myself) is there is no second dish to clean. The cup you mix in, you drink. Its like the healthy equivalent of kraft macaroni and cheese where you make it and then eat it out of the pot.
Don't tell me I'm the only one that hates doing dishes?
