GUYS that drink HATERade???

I was IN the military two years ago, I saw how high the deployment was getting - and I saw how much the civilian contractors were making off it. SO I made a choice ... chunked the deuce and traded it for a 6 figure income employer who lets me wear my earrings and facial hair as I see fit; just as many civilain ex-veterans did. Unfortunately, due to our income - we sometimes endeer unecessary scrutiny from a few jealous soldiers. I WISH our military got paid a h3ll of a lot more for doing what they do - God knows they deserve it, but they knew the income before they re-enlisted. So right now I'm in Afghanistan as a civilian, aiding our soldiers in the fight against terrorism; putting in 84 hours a week with never a day off, unless a medic says so - and still dodging rockets and jumping in bunkers.

Anyway my gym partner (eddievip32) and I were at the gym the other day and walked past this short, pudgy, sloppy, lazy-body, as$hole and didnt notice the guy shake his head with this sour a$s look on his face and say to his friend about Eddie, "yeah i would love to take THAT guy out to the field." As if to say, "He might be in good shape but he wouldn't be sh!t out in the desert."

WTF part of the game is that?! The guy that runs the gym let Eddie know - so he made sure to grab a bench next to this slug and do a few warm ups on 225, and then two more sets getting up to 305 while this humpty dumpty lookin' f@g got dizzy trying to push up 135. I hope dude is a good shot, cuz I dont care what you say - there's no way he's leading the pack in the field struggling on 135, but WEIGHING 215!

Maybe I'm too new to the scene ... is this anything anyone else encounters? Does it normally happen? Or was this guy on his period?

-Made no sense considering he was out of shape, and his buddy was in decent shape.

Yeah i figured it for jealousy ... but didnt expect that moronic comment to come outta such a blimpy "this is my second time in the gym EVER" type. I could see if maybe the guy was some type of Navy SEAL or some high speed gung-hoe in shape type - but .... man I don't know that sh!t just tickled the fuk outta me.

I started to ask the guy what his ab-routine was (knowing he probably wouldn't know what I meant by "ab") but was pursuaded otherwise.

I am victim of haterade all the time, suckas hating on you when you're on top. Personally if I see someone more successful than me I focus my energy on trying to imitate what they did so I can better myself, rather than go and talk **** about them.

what the hell does the fact that you're a civillian contractor have to do with you bench more than enlisted guy?

BTW...It doesn't take but a couple of pounds of pressure to pull a trigger. I don't see too many Ronnie Coleman looking Arabs, and they still manage to shoot AK47's just fine.

naw i definitely dont need a pay raise ... thanks in part to halliburton.

i was just sayin that i think the soldiers need more - but knowing their raise will always pale by comparison to what civilian contractors get - i chose to get out and jump on that contractor bandwagon for a bit. 30Gs aint worth a bullet to MY head IMO. and i think its silly how some (NOT ALL) of the soldiers kinda hate since they didnt think to make the same move. if you choose to grab a weapon and fight - fine do it and be PROUD because it was YOUR choice... don't enlist wanting the benefits and cool uniform, then b!tch and whine when you get deployed and you're making less than your civilian counterparts ... that's my only point here.

i didnt say you have to be ronnie coleman to pull a trigger - but this guys physique is laughable! especially considering the comment he had the nuts to say - thats why i said i hope this dude is a good shot!

I doubt Seals would ever hate on you due to jealousy because they have so much going for them. It's like chunks like the guy in the gym had have a complex and thus have to try to prove themselves by bringing them down. Sort of a compliment to you actually.

Screw that. The military and goverment is eating around 1400 dollars a month out of my paycheck to pay highschool drops out to kill people in a war i dont support.
