Not sure if anyone does it, but I wanted to see what the pros and cons were of this.
1. Alternating exercises so your muscles are always fresher. Like on a Chest/Back day, do Bench > Row > Incline DB > Chins. Does this have any effect, positive or negative on hypertrophy? Would the muscles get too cold in between exercises? You should be able to use more weight in the later exercises as they wouldn't be as fatigued.
2. Alternating sets. Bench set > Row set > Bench set > Row set. If you rest two minutes between sets, you could do a set, wait a min, do a set, wait a min, so you'd up rest between sets of the same exercise slightly while lowering your total workout time.
My bad if this is a dumb question. It's been a long time since I've done anything but full body LP.
