The pic on the left shows me at 15, and the right shows me at 17. Though I have made significant gains in the area of strength, I haven't gotten any bigger at all, or so it seems. Terribly depressing to compare the two pictures separated by 2 whole years.

"Sometimes you just feel tired, you feel weak. And when you feel weak you feel like you just wanna give up. But you gotta search within you and try to find that inner strength and just pull that **** out of you and get that motivation to not give up and not be a quitter no matter how bad you just wanna fall flat on your face and collapse." - Eminem

For a majority of the two years between the photos I was heavy into track and field where I was a 21'+ longer jumper and 23.xx 200 meter dash runner. So I ran like crazy to stay in track shape. On top of that I went to school for 7 hours a day plus went to track practice and then worked part time. My meals were rarely anything more than a quick powerbar here or a cafeteria meal there.
Now I have retired from track, only have two classes (one of which is weightlifting) and cut back on my part time hours. Hopefully now I can plan my meals more consistlantly.
Plus, my mom groceries are mostly ice cream and cookies. I have to use my own money to buy my tuna fish.
Thanks for all the constructive cristisism!

you won't, unless youhave awesome genetics, be big before 19. I trained since I was 16, and 16-19 I looked almost the same. 19-now(20 1/2) I made INSANE gains. basically, you have to wait for your body to stop growing before you can get bigger. Ppl. will disagree, but i've experienced it 1st hand, so i know what i'm talking about. give it time
