    Post Cortisone Injection Blues

    Hi everyone,

I had a cortisone injection in my right shoulder for a rotator cuff injury last Tuesday and today I'm feeling worse than ever.

Thought this would occur for a few days, which it did, but today it feels just as bad. Am worried as it's five days now and I still have pain. Can this be normal, or has the injection simply not helped?

    Thanks

    Rhino

they can take a few days for full effect and can swell/cause more pain in the meantime. also, sometimes the doc can miss the ideal spot.
go back, he can give you another or confirm no complications.

    Training regularly but no progress?
You need one or more of these: more food, more weight, more reps or more rest.

After I got my cortisone shot in the wrist it felt much worse the following days. The range of motion was severely limted. I did some wrist curls, which also hurt, but the next day the wrist felt much better. Don't know if the same is advisable for the rotator cuff.
