stealth vs demarini

hey guys,
Right now I am using the 2007 demarini vexxum. I usually use demarinis when it gets a little warmer out, but I really really dig the feel of this bat. I was thinking of getting a easton stealth, but didn't know if I would use it all too much. I bat 4th in my line up, and I have a really good stroke to the ball and find the sweet spot easily.
So my question is, is the stealth worth buying? Anyone use it and like it?

its all in what u like

if you hitting good with the vexxum then keep with it (if it still has pop and all)

i use a stealth and like it cause it has some good pop but when i 1st used it i thought it wasnt very forgiveing like u hat to make good contact for a good hit. too much under and it was a high popup too far up a weak grounder. but i like it.


i would suggest if u want a new bat to go to some place where u can test it or borrow one from a teammate/friend to try

i had the original vexxum from a few years ago and i acquired a stealth from last year (the yellow one)..

since my strength changed i can't really judge which had more pop but id say that the stealth feels more balanced and easier to whip through the hitting zone

Stick with the demarini...I'm using the stealth comp and i've already broken 2 of them and its not worth the investment. They have new demarini bats coming out at the end of april and from the demo one i used keep your money for those. if you really want a good bat get an Exogrid...that is probably the best bat i've ever used

I used the EXO for a season and I hated it...wasn't my kind of bat. So yeah, I am hitting good with the vexxum so I will stick with it...thanks guys

wow..i j/ used a comp stealth the other day and now im definately leaning towards stealths being better (yes i used the new voodoo as well and did not like it)

there's very very little difference between any of the bats you can buy. they all have to meet the same regualtions, almost all the rest of the **** you hear is just marketing, and it works. kids actually believe the bats are significantly different. it's all personal preference.

btw, a kid on my team cracked the Exo's patented "grid" handle last year, it's all b.s. We also had a connexion that separated at the "connection." All that specially patented stuff is bull****. I'd personally go with a one-piece bat. Try an Omaha or something, they tend to be cheaper and more durable.

i agree with you to a point..which is why i dont buy expensive bats either..i j/ use them when i can..last legion season i used a 1 piece response and couldn't be happier..im usually j/ superstitious w/ which bat i have tho i still feel that some bats are balanced much better

I've used everything from Omahas to Stealths (not comp though) to Vexxum, and I really prefer the vexxum. I own a 2007, either going to get another '07 or an '08 for next season.

Go with the demarini. Stealths are just too expensive. Demarini's are good and so are Mikens. what ever you do dont get an Exo. i got one and dont like it very much.

i agree u cant just get a crappy bat thts $50 and expect it to be like a stealth/ vexxum

but has ne one hit with the new dynasty bats ive never hit with one but i want to really bad

Personaly, I've always hated Stealths. They seems too "gimicky." Vexxum IMO. I own a Vexxum, and I really like it. (-3)

I picked up a DeMarini at a local college camp at the end of all the testing. They were looking to get rid of last years because they have a deal with the company so they get 2 shipments of 40 per year. After using it in the cage I decided to stick with my Rawlings Liquid Metal. I am indifferent about most bats and I usually pick up my bats on eBay for about $100 since it is the season after they have been released, still new, still in the wrapper. I stopped buing into the hype after I got into a verbal altercation with Easton's customer service.

I cracked 2 stealths this year during 1 season, no idea why, and its never happened with any other bat I've owned....don't like them 1 bit. Stick with the vexxums...they have tons of pop.

Btw, I still have my '02 Omaha Classic Gold and it still has pop. Haha.

i cracked my stealth and my vexxum died so i think im sticking to one piece from now on..my teammate had a bat that was almost square w/ dents and it still had a lot of pop

I think pop is a figment of our imagination. Sure, there is a difference between the stealth and the hammer, as another poster pointed out, but once you get to the higher level of bats like the exo, voodoo, stealth, or whatver the hell anyone else swings, I really don't think there is a difference. I can't even get started about the models based on year without going on a rant. I'm pretty sure there won't be that big of a difference between the 07 vexxum and the 08 vexxum. Just a thought though.
