So what does everyone think about the new war funding bill and congress wanting to pull out of Iraq and the war all together? I think it is a load of **** and they are stupid if they think it will help us. the second we pull out of war they will bring it to out home soil and then they will still blame us for everything! These people have no clue what is goin on over there becuase they sit behind a desk all day and arent out there fighting with a uniform on alll they do is look at the media and the media is just full of negative news and we all know that. So am a fellow Service member I want to hear what everyone's opinion is on this whoel subject..... please tell. Any service people out there give me a shout on my page! and everyone else for that matter. I support our troops do you?

Shiites and SUnnis are fighting each other in Iraq, we're caught in the crossfire. They also hate us, so we're part of the fight.

Iraq is a predominately Sunni region, There's a small bit of Shiites in it, Iran is majority Shiite, so guess what? they might help out the Shiites.

And saudi arabia will jump in for the sunnis, bottom line its going to be a clusterf#ck. However, parroting the line that "they" will follow us home is insane (im not saying you've used it), pulling the majority of troops out, splitting the country into three seperate regions/states and leaving 25,000 troops to fight terrorism and not police a civil war is the best option.

At that point i knew what i was doin for the rest of my life. Thank god he is alive and i am a proud member of the armed forces. People just need to open their eyes and see the real picture.. doesn't help that congress is blockin utube and myspace from soldiers at war... that may be the only true source and REAL positive or negative news we have for the war. the news if full of crap and just all bad news they don't tell about the soldiers that die jumping onto grenades or bombs to save innocent people and in turn lose their life. if you don't support the war at least support the troops.

Everyone is so F'ing blind... no one thought in a million years anything would happenon U.S. soil either did they. I commend Bush for hsi efforts in this war. I would proudly go back. If you say we shoudl pull out now then you show no support to the people that have lost their lives. we have made great progress in a very corrupt country and we need to look at the positive. If you people didn't have soldiers you would know how the other side lives and you would hate it. Bottom line we just need to be more proactive in the war not PASSIVE little boys and pull out. China is going no where in the superpower world neither is korea or any oher country

I think we should stand down, let them impode on themselves in religious civil war, and then hold talks with the side that wins. Nothing will get done in congress as long as you have a far right wing president and a house led by far left liberal.

I dont think pulling out is completly right, nor is setting a time table. You cannot use a send end point to fight a war. If congress told our troops during wwII, you have 2 years to fight, then your done, do you think it would have accomplished much? I dont think the status quo is working either.
