Try mixing 1 packet of splenda into it for sweetness. In addition to that use Sugar free/fat free pudding mixes or sugar free jello mixes. There are tons of flavors to choose from. They add a very small amount of calories. I use the pudding mixes and I can usually use a packet over the course of 10 days, which means it adds about 10 calories a serving.

Re: what would be a good snack to mix with cottage cheese before bed?
try this. put your cotage cheese into a food processor or like the "ultimate chopper". That will turn it into a paste like ranch dip. Throw some garlic in for some garlic dip or a bit of dry ranch powser for rranch dip. put it on some celery and there ya go.
You should it with natural peanut butter. It slows down the digestion of the protein and makes it last longer into the night. Thats probably the best late night meal.
