Very smart. I have four of those Plate Mate magnetic 1.25 lb plates, which are good for dumbbells, but they were like 15 bucks each, and they don't work on rubber dumbbells. :-P
Keep on hulkin'.

I made 8 of them, I think it cost me 15 bucks at Lowe's, definitely worth it.
