Cool Don't burn your gifts...

Hi Natalee,
I'm personal trainer from Italy, and we talked on Yahoo, before. As I said, you have pretty good genetics and potentialities for muscles, to go far...
Then I think you should: 1) Learn HOW to pose (a good posing routine). 2) Try to take part in some Competitions, that can encourage you to improve...BUT into Bodybuilding...
My advice is to don't burn your natural gifts!
Train hard and God bless you, ciao
Anto

Take Part in Powerlifting

I see you have great potential for powerlifting. With those solid quads, I feel with little effort you can break squat world records for your age class!

15? Well first you must know that many federations have age limits --- I know that for the bikini and modelling shows I do I believe you must be 18 -- so find out first. There are also federations that have teen/junior categories that you may be able to do. As far as sponsors go, same thing sweetie. They may or may not be interested, only because you will be limited to shows, your age of consent (for using pics etc -- remember this is about the physique, so pics showcase this and I can tell you what I would think if my 15 year old posed in a bikini let alone the legalities behind it). That howver is for a national type sponsor.

By all means, start local, I did. Get your community on your side and you may be able to work out for free (again it may be an age thing at your gym), get your suits done, tanning (try to limit this IMO), supplements (again, I hate to see someone so young rely too much on supplementation, go for natural foods where possible) etc. You may also be able to get some media in your community paper or even your school. Start locally, a

Also, from a muscle perspective, and I am no expert, but you have some time yet to build, I am always hearing/reading how there is a prime time for muscle maturaity...someone else on the board will be able to help you with this more.

Honest, for now, focus on the junior ranks, get your experience on stage, and by the time you are an adult (I know seems so far lol) you will be a pro and very little will stand in your way. This can be a sport filled with harsh lessons so take advantage of your youth sweetie and use your energy and genetics to start to build an awesome physique.

Must be becuase I am a mom

Smile a little help

hi there isn't any age limit in bodybuilding shows in fact alot of them have teen divisions. As far as getting ready you have to figure out a good diet and it will take probably 8 weeks to get to the point where your actually ready to get on stage. If you need any help feel free to hit me up on this side or my e-mail wholedamshow33@hotmail.com i will give you some more specific dieting advice if you would like.

If you are interested in doing bodybuilding then you should look into the above...I know that for fitness modelling and swimsuit etc there is an 18 age limit for some if not most federations (the Fitness America/Universe is 18 regardless of parental consent).....though you may be able to still find some with a junior category....I would focus on developing healthy habits, regular workouts and finding a gym that has youth focussed programs, student prices, women's only areas perhaps and/or trainers with experience training competitors or teens...the last thing IMO that you need at your age is an overly restrictive diet or harsh training -- learn techinique, practice balanced, regular eating (learn to cook a little more with a focus on nutrition if parents support this) and water intake. At 15, you have a lot of advantages and I seriously don't see the need for extreme measures at either end, you'll be burnt out before you mature....my two cents (again from a mom and a trainer who would give this advice to my daughter or client)
