    Post-workout shake

Hey, I'm 14 and a half years old, about 5'6" tall & weigh about 120 lbs. Does this shake look good for me?

about 10 oz milk for life (its milk with high protein & no fat)
1 scoop of Optimum 100% Whey Protein
    1/4 cup Dextrose
    5 g Creatine

Altogether this adds up to 536 calories, 32 grams of protein, 56.5 grams of carbohydrates, and 1 gram of fat.

Is this alright for me to take?

Thanx a lot for your help.

i take mine with water, but seems like a good post workout shake. 1/4 cup of dextrose? Im not to sure of that measurement but it should be around 50grams of dextrose. Also i dont know how its 500+ cals it just seems odd to me, but you maybe right.

    Good luck bro

Whoops, sorry man, It's supposed to be 356 calories, not 536, my bad. I'm not sure if the measurement for the Dextrose is completely right either, but I saw on a website that a tablespoon contained 10 g dextrose, & i thought a 1/4 cup was 4 tablespoons, So that would be 40 grams, but i'm not sure.

    ANY OTHER OPINIONS??

You should take all your creatine before your workout. After your workout is when protien is needed. And are you putting your creatine in milk? If you are you are seriously wasting your money.

creatine before your workout? Although many people do this, and it does work as well, many more take it after their workout. I was told thats when your body needs the most nutrients. Also taking creatine before working out has given many people an upset stomach while working out. The choice is yours bro.

    peace
