Landing a Photoshoot?

If I'm wanting to get a photoshoot around my comp time (like between pre-judge and night show) how do I go about contacting photographers? How would I even know what photographers will be there? I'd like to also get a TFP/CD if at all possible.

Anyone successful with this? Any photographers interested in shooting with me! ;-)

If you are going to pay for it picture people and glamour shots do a good job.

However I wouldn't pay. a muscular body is a hot comodity for photographers as it can enhance their portafolio. so I would contact photographers in the area and offer them free modeling in exchange for copies of the pictures.

oops sorry. so during the show. the shows i've done there are always photographers hanging arround soliciting. i've never done it as i think artistic studio pics a few days before come out better.

hm...i was thinking of trying to get photographers who have come to the show (or planned on going) to shoot me. is the best time a couple of days before/after the show?

and im wanting a little more than what picture people or glamour shots would do.

I like it at least a week before only because at that point I have not applied any tanning products and therefore you can do B&W pictures and they come out better and for the color pictures you can apply makeup to face and body and if you need a tan for a particular picture you can use a spray on that washes off. Not to mention that contest week and day you have enough going on.

but he maybe the top athlete photogrpher in the country. but a gain there are very good photographers that would do it for free just call arround.
