because a lot of people are cowards and don't want to bring attention to themselves/suffer like the person they're watching. dreamscapes and i got pissed off friday just because some dude at a club was being a dick to some girl (blocking her from moving past him) and we did something about it. if we had seen something happening like what's in this video, there's no way we would have stood by and just watched.

I'm impressed by the fight the old fellow still had. In his 90's and taking punches directly to the side of the face.
The severest form of punishment should exist for ghetto losers like the pus$y that hit the veteran. He should be made an example of. His punishment should be strong enough to deter anyone from ever doing that type of thing.

I woulda thrown a haymaker to the back of that f@ggots' head. Seriously, they were a group of people... there's pretty much nothing to fear. If you're 5 people, and you want to stop that skinny black guy, it'd be easy. Even one person though. That just shows you how a lot of people truely are in this country/world. More people say they'd do soemthing, then would. But still, if people see that **** right in front of their face and do nothing, it's no wonder why we let so many people suffer and die in this world, when there are plenty of people that can help.
Edit: fitmanjack, im pretty sure they old guy was being held up by the door and just getting hit when he was pretty much out, soon as the door moved, he dropped. The guy hit him way more than he "needed" too. That's another thing, that guy could've stolen the car if he wanted to, he didn't need to hit him, or hit him that much. He probably could've pushed him and got in and left.

Although off-topic, i saw a program a while back were a production team tested to see how kind the public are when it comes to helping somebody out in distress.
A woman (actress) was laid in the side of the road as if she had been beaten and in discomfort, and nobody pulled over to help her our for something like 25 minutes.
The majority of people really don't want anything different from the ordinary to happen in their life. If something does happen, they pretend it's not happening and ignore it to go on with their regular, boring daily routine.

I watched that very same program. It's funny, I rarely watch anything on TV, but I did see that. I was stunned at how long it took people to react.
I saw another similar program where people were lined up for a job interview. During the interview and actor down the hall would let out a blood-curdling scream and cry out for help. The interviewees were taped to see their reaction. Only one person out of like 20 actually got up and ran to see what the problem was.
