Thumbs up derek do you still believe in the max-ot trainingg

was looking at your style of training, but wasnt sure if you still follow the max-ot training to the t, was wondering if you made any changes, or what you think about the whole theorey with low reps on joints and exc..

If you look at my training, you see that I do not follow MAX-OT at all.

    1) I train each muscle group more than once a week
    2) I usually don't train to failure
    3) I use a greater total volume
    4) I use both the 4-6 and 6-9 rep ranges
    5) I do isolation exercises

I definitely think MAX-OT has its place though.

Derek, What kind of training do you follow? What are the basic principals behind it? Also.....I want to start carb cycling. But I'm not sure what to set my carbs at on my high and low days. I weigh 170. I am thinking 400/200/0....and then every 2 weeks droping it 50 grams. Whats your input? Thanks

I train according the BEAST Training 1.0 (Still under construction)

At your weight, I would do for carbs:
    High: 350
    Low: 150
    No: 50 (veggies)

LOL Beast Training 1.0, sounds good to me. Yeah, I think that Max-OT is good to use if your really trying to put on mass, but once that mass is on there, it's time to start working on the details. That's where isolation training can definitely come into play. And play around with rep ranges and see what works for you.
