Long time lurker but first time poster in this thread I'm mostly into weightlifting for strength in boxing my question was what are some good recovery tips from these massive binges you guys have.I had one this past weekend and it was a glorious break from 6 months of solid clean dieting. Now just an idea of what I ate over the period of one day.(Saturday)Large chicken ceasar pizza from Pizza Hut,then 12 peanut butter cookies that was breakfast then contined to one whole small box of vector cereal with one litre of whole milk, then one loaf of WW bread with a jar of nutella. That was pre lunch, then I had 1 big mac,med fries,10 mcnuggets. Now on to Dinner started clean with 2 HM chicken rollups with a side salad then the chocolate craving came back and before bed i consumed 1 litre of rocky-road ice cream and copius deadly toppings. Now completely stuffed and tired i went to bed and woke at 8am craving sugar so bad with my santa claus like gut I ushered my parents to go out for breakfast they had breakfast sandwiches at tim hortons but I scored 6 donuts.Later that day I went back to my normal diet and training. Now my question is after training that day i had gained a scary 13 pounds. What are some damage control tips to help these binges do less damage.

The only reason i ask is because every hour from that day I have been day dreaming of food and i can feel another day coming way too soon how do u guys cope with the cravings.Because for boxing i need to stay under 170 to fight at 165.(Alittle history i was quite obese as a kid and spent all day eating and it was sorta like a hobbie but then fell in love with working out and boxing ever since then I have eating as clean as a whistle I think i sort of unleashed my former fat self)

yeah I'll chew gum quite a bit as well. I think its just the fact that it keeps your mouth occupied it distracts you from wanting food.

VictorA, please use paragraphs - it would have made that allmighty cheat much easier to read!
wrt craving control, personally i allow myself treats throughout the week that fit into my daily calorie/macro range and whilst they obviosuly arent the best nutritionally, knowing that I can divert from ultra clean and enjoy something tasty keeps a lid on binges and also cravings. I regularly eat ice cream, cereals, apple pies, custard and lots of treats but i keep calories and macros in check (protein requirements are met for and my carb/fat grams are correct).
All my cheats and thusly controlled - unless i come home drunk, then its a battle to the death with my self control which unfortunately is often a bit pre-exhausted lol"There's levels of retardation most people don't even know about"

Probably just bread for sandwiches cause I'm interested in seeing how much PB I can eat in a sitting...the goal is 5 lbs (90 oz), i think its a nice round number. I've eaten 40 before on a cheat among a lot (and i mean a lot) of other crap so I don't think 90 is so far out of reach..I just plan on cutting PB out of my diet until I do it so I'm craving it like crack

The most PB I ever had in a day was 40 oz. as well but there was alot more food involved that day too. I think 90 oz + bread would be a good test. I'd feel like exploding I think at the end but I may give this a shot on my next cheat day in a few weeks. A loaf of bread maybe 2 plus 5lbs of PB lol.

Hey guys, just wanted to interject a little bit of info for anyone in the Philadelphia area for CHEATING
Because this is the ultimate cheat, if you like pizza!
In West Philly, there's a place on Baltimore ave called Station Pizza. If you call and specifically request a PARTY PIZZA, they'll deliver it to you. This thing is so massive, I had it one time. They came up to my house and had to get 2 guys to get the pizza out of the trunk of the car. I needed another person to help me with it into the house. It was the biggest pizza ever, each slice was about 2 feet long.....
Oh my god it was the best cheat EVER
Ok im done for now =D

I'm going to Baltimore for a week at the end of this month. Can anyone post recommendations for places to eat (healthy or not) with links?
