well yesterday i thought i had myself a cheat with a subway melt with cheese and ranch dressing, but adding up the numbers it really isn't that bad.
subway melt is turkey, ham and bacon. that is on subway wheat bread (half wheat) and with cheddar cheese and ranch dressing
it totals 560 cals 30g fat, 49g carb and 30g protein
i know it's probably a lot of saturated fat, refined carbs and salt. but that doesn't seem like the end of the world to me!
next time i go though i'll definitely be getting chicken and turkey with no sauce

The one complaint that most people have with subway is that they use some high-fructose corn syrup in their bread, and of course the flour is a bit more refined than it could be. I don't personally eat a lot of subway (simply because when I want a sub, I want Quiznos, and when I eat Quiznos, that is DEFINATELY a cheat), but I wouldn't worry too much about the occasional sub. Just go light on the dressing and cheese.
I'm not in this for the trophy; I'm in it for the hypertrophy.

It's OK once in a while . . .
I like the Subway sweet onion chicken teriyaki, but just 2 keep things in perspective, remember they never show their poster boy, Jared Fogle, w/ his shirt off (see pic), LOL.
Best Regards,
Ed
