Did it go click-clack, if so, then call Under Armor right away as you may get to be in their next commercial..haha no seriously, I would stop doing them and get(the last thing any of us want to hear) checked out by a doc.

Were you going too low? Were these dips weighted?

Do find this "click" happening in other movements?

If you've recently started doing the dips, it could just be a matter of your cartilage getting used to the stress.

It may go away as you get stronger.

are u warming up properly? i have a clickin' sound whenever i do any type of tricep exercise..i think it's cartilage getting used to the stress but also it's less when i'm warmed up..seeing a doctor is not a bad idea if it persists..

Ive always heard not to worry about clicking if it doesnt hurt.

As for the pain in the chest - I know that when I would do weighted dips I would sometimes get a sharp pain in my sternum where the pecs originate (the cleavage).
