sup guys, been a while...
whats up everybody....man i havent posted on this site in years. i was out of the gym for almost 2 years for medical reasons..i had a torn muscle in my abdominal wall as well as a very bad viral infection thats still working its way out of my system..im gradually getting better, but still have to stick with light training..so after 2 full years of no training at all..im fiiinnnnnnally back...man it was tough not being able to work out for so long, especially without knowing why for so long..(only got a diagnosis a few months ago)
so ive been back workin out for 3 months..with very light weight. all i use is 40 lb dumbells, for everything. chest, arms, back, shoulders..just 2 40 lb dumbells and some bands for light resistance burn out exercises. i do pushups, curls, whatever i can at home with what ive got..but ive been putting on size well with what im doing. twice a month ive been hittin the gym and lifting some heavier weight, but only that often..at least untill i find out if i need surgery or not.
anyway, just wanted to let all you guys know where ive been all this time..lol if any of the members who know me are still around..
heres a pic of my arm, lol its all ive got for now.
thanks,
tankus

hey if you were able to maintain your size, i slightly recall the old pics, with "light" 40lb your still pretty damn big.
dont worry too much about, everyone gets sick and everyone has the ability to recover. but why was it that you didnt get diagnosed until just a few months ago?

thanks guys,
i was only diagnosed a few months ago because i saw a garden variety of doctors that were as clueless as crowning babies. one told me i had an ulcer..one told me i had a thyroid disorder, one told me i had a hiatal hernia..one told me i needed to stop doing steroids (which ive never done)..it took a specialist with a clue to figure it out..unfortunately that required me traveling across the country and seeing a dozen doctors to get to that point.
and yeah my arms are pretty much the size they were..my right is 20.5 inches and my left is 20..my chest and back are a little smaller just cause im not really using enough weight to hit them as hard as i would like...but in time ill gradually start training heavier

Welcome back bro! I've been wondering where you've been! I just returned to the scene myself after 1-1/2 year break for different reasons. I can't believe you've maintained that much size with 40lb weights and only working twice a month!!! It just shows what amazing genetics you have!

lol thanks man....glad to hear you are back in the gym as well its an amazing feeling bein able to hit the weights after time off...that pic with lee priest is awesome dude haha ****in A....ive actually been workin out like 2-3 times a week for the past 3 months or so...twice a week i have a heavier work out, rep 225 and curl 60's and ****..but yeah otherwise im jsut hittin it at home with a couple dumbells...its amazing what you can do with small weights tho if you train as hard as you can with what youve got.
thanks for the comments y'all, its good to be back around here.
peace

Can't imagine having arms that size. "Hulking" is all I can think to say. That is very cool. Glad you are doing better. People have little idea how emotionaly taxing a physical set back can be. Best of luck on your continued recovery.
