Today I got:
squats: 265x5, 275x2x5
presses: 125x5, 115x2x5 (I got it, with the 125, but terrible curve to my back so I dropped it down and did it fine)
cleans: 155x5, 145x2x5 again, felt bad terrible form. the weight isnt the problem its my speed and ability to get down and under it while pulling it up at the same time, idk its just a new movement to me.
then chins: 2x8.
Everything seems to be moving pretty linear right now. I'm pleased with it. Diet needs to get in better check, well not really but just a little cleaner. I'm a sucker for sweets.
I notice a little more size, meh maybe placebo/increase capillary density. idk.
I have the worlds weakest/smallest shoulders. except with dumbbells, for some reason my dumbbell weight outweighs my barbell weight with shoulder presses."Success is the best form of revenge"

Quite common actually. With dumbells you press the weight "through your head", whereas you obviously can't do that with a barbell. Everything is stronger at the core. Another example of the same thing is squatting with a safety bar. The weight is placed exactly in the middle of your body instead of slightly to the back or front, so you can lift much heavier.

very well... but it feels so good to be back in there. especially since i dont really have much to do after work. so i get out of work, go get dinner, chill out for like 30-60 mins, then go to the gym, chill for a lil, shower, and bed by 8 lol.
Plan is to 1. build up a decent strength base 2. use strength to build muscle 3. cut down.
Goals by August 2011: be able to do 20 pullups, run a 20 min 3 mile, bench atleast 315, squat 405, pull 495, and be sub 180."Success is the best form of revenge"
